To reserve space, send a completed reservation form with a nonrefundable deposit of $1000 per person to Far and Away Adventures. Telephone reservations are acceptable but the deposit and completed reservation form must be received within two weeks or the space will be released. The trip balance will be due 120 days prior to trip departure. Deposits are non-transferable and nonrefundable. Due to the fact that we are limited in the number of people who can take on each trip and the number of trips available each year, a deposit must be received to hold a space. Since that space then becomes unavailable, the person booking the space is responsible for payment of said space. In all cases of cancellation, Far and Away Inc. must receive the notification in writing at P. O. Box 54, Sun Valley, ID 83353. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies due to the nature of the trips, and for this reason, we very strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance. No refunds will be issued after final payment has been made. It is the participant’s responsibility to arrive at the Far and Away departure sites at the required times. Far and Away Inc. does reserve the right to cancel a trip or make changes in the itinerary if necessary due to weather conditions, water conditions, water fluctuations, insufficient reservations, changes in international relations, USFS, NPS, or BLM wilderness closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. Outright cancellation is unlikely. It is for the above reasons we strongly encourage you to protect this investment with trip cancellation insurance.

Responsibility Far and Away Inc. and cooperating agencies act only in the capacity of agent for the participants in all matters relating to transportation and/or all other related travel services and assume no responsibility however caused for injury, loss, or damage to person or property in connection with any service, included but not limited to, that resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force major, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulation, discrepancies or change in transit over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the participants. Water levels or natural occurrences may necessitate flying backcountry aircraft to trip departure incurring an additional charge to our guests. Return back country aircraft flights are optional. Car shuttles and rental car service is available. Trip costs excludes USFS, NPS, and BLM and recreation fees, as well as Idaho sales tax if applicable. On advancement of deposit, the depositor agrees to be bound by the above-recited terms and conditions. Paddle sport and outdoor adventure activities are hazardous activities and should only be undertaken by people in good health. If you have any questions about your ability to withstand the rigors of the activity, please contact your physician before committing to the activity.
